Socio-Economic Research Applications and Projects (SERAP) is a recently established consulting firm in the Washington DC area. The team consists of former staff from international development and finance institutions (for example, World Bank, IMF, OECD) and academia.
Our motto "Evidence, Practice and Science" reflects our firm’s objectives: to provide evidence-based, scientific analyses for development practitioners; and to design and deliver training in project development and state of the art economic analysis tools. SERAP also aims to highlight success stories from developing countries in: creating sustainable jobs, through development in ICT communications and trade; and socially inclusive and climate resilient natural resources management. Some of our main products are economic-environmental modeling in response to the impacts from climate change at the national and river basin levels for South Asian countries; Macro-Economic Assessment of Climate Change Adaptation Strategy for Bulgaria; and Blue Economy report for Sri Lanka.
